Barbeque grills have come a long way from the open fire and spit days. These days there are gas grills galore. To be sure the gas grills range from standard grill slates, gas burners on the side, smokers, heavy-duty material for serious grill enthusiasts and monster grills for tailgating. You can also bet that the latest in grill technology has a rotisserie on it as well.

Gas grills have a wide range in pricing. From a modest $150 to the serious grill master sporting price tag of approximately $2000 and everything in between. Moderately priced grills will provide years of quality-cooked foods. These grills are usually made from cast aluminum and some even have burner controls to adjust the flames. Construction is durable and can be depended on for years of use.

Mid-range priced grills are a little higher quality made of stainless steel with between ten and 20,000 BTU. With heavy stainless steel grills distribute heat evenly on the cooking area and welded corners for greater durability. This of course helps cooking times and not having your food come out unevenly cooked. These grills also sport multiple heat surfaces for multiple types of grilling and cooking such as steaks on one side and veggies on the other.

Then there are the monster grills. These grills are made for some serious cooking and they also will likely be able to use coal or hardwood in them as well. Often used for tailgating but, can usually be taken anywhere that can be driven to as they normally be on a hitch. Made from durable heavy stainless steel, welded corners, lift up dual lids and burners that will make you proud.
