Solaire grills are mostly infrared radiation, but a few offer both infrared and convection. They come in a variety of sizes, both pedestal mounted, cart mounted, and built-in Solaire grills all have an impressive list of standard features including removable stainless steel main burners, stainless steel bodies with welded seams and no screws or rivets, inner linings on hoods, covers are included, and can be converted to natural gas.
Although Stok Grills were a fun idea with matching orange colors, a different design concept involving various cooking tool inserts and even branded apparel, Home Depot stores liquidated everything they had in stock for lower and lower prices until most stores are sold out. They are now available on the Home Depot website at full price for online orders only. I asked Stok Public Relations if the line is being discontinued. They promised to get back with an answer, but have not. Regardless of quality and performance, Stok looks destined for the boneyard. If you can find a Home Depot that is giving one away (I heard of stupid deals like mark downs from $399 to $79), you may want take a chance. Otherwise, sit back and let the ash settle.
